The Jim Moran Foundation

Rooted in the interior architecture’s emphasis on humility, craftsmanship, and timelessness, the signage and wayfinding for the Jim Moran Foundation was developed as a quiet extension of the built environment. Inspired by the soft, diffused quality of Japanese lanterns, the final direction pairs matte acrylic, subtle color, and minimal detailing to create a signage system that feels warm, clear, and intentionally restrained.

One of the most beautiful parts of the sample review was seeing how the matte acrylic changed in different light. Direct sun and shade helped reveal the material’s quiet transparency and the framed edge detail that gives each sign its layered quality.

This project is currently in progress, final photography to be added as the space comes to life.
